The primary function of this role is to strategically manage and coordinate the flow of Titanium scrap between raw material suppliers and TIMET. It will include both conforming and non-conforming scrap as required.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop account relationships to understand requirements and implement solutions
- Work closely with purchasing and commercial staff globally to maximize titanium revert utilization solutions and opportunities
- Work with scrap dealer network as necessary to support revert requirements
- Assist and implement a revert strategy between TIMET, PCC, and various external accounts
- Become key member of TIMET raw materials team to influence the strategic direction of the business with accumulated knowledge of the Titanium industry, including the PCC supply chain
- Manage supplier interactions and understand financial impacts of decision-making processes
- Assist with duty drawback
Education and Experience
- 3 years minimum experience working in metals or aerospace industry. Experience with titanium scrap preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years purchasing and / or supply chain logistics experience
- High School degree required.
- BA in Supply Chain, Business or related area preferred
