Principal Duties:
Ensure assigned planning alerts are completed in a timely manner
Ensure purchase orders are placed and expedited to meet target service level requirements
Ensure parts are moved to regional distribution centers to maintain a 95 on hand vs. target stock level
Ensure departmental goals for scrapping of excess inventory are met each year
Responsible for the development of Tactical Planning Department to ensure objectives are reached
Assist in developing yearly inventory goals including reserves
Ensure proper controls within SAP Develop and maintain tactical planning, procedures and policies
Develop and record performance criteria for tactical planner/buyers
Recommend and coordinate system improvements
Work closely with other Spares Supervisors to improve processes and communication
Monitor/manage KPIs for Tactical Planning Department
Other duties assigned by management to meet department objectives
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent aviation related experience
Five (5) years of experience using computerized distribution or material planning/forecasting systems
Five (5) years of material planning or logistics experience in aviation related field
Three (3) years of demonstrated leadership skills or supervisory experience
Advanced proficiency in PC Windows business software, Microsoft Office Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
Additional Desired Qualifications:
Supply Chain certification
Ability to read, write or speak French language
Working Conditions:
Office environment
Use of personal computers required
Some travel (domestic and international) required
Flexibility in work schedule including nights/weekends to meet scheduled deadlines
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position typically falls between $90,000 and $105,000 per year. This position is not eligible for overtime. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
