As a Senior Supplier Program Management Specialist, your expertise will shape the future of aerospace technology, influencing supplier processes, capabilities, and performance to ensure the success of high-profile programs.
Your Role and Impact:In this role, you will be a pivotal part of the team, working to drive excellence in every phase of the supply chain. You will collaborate with both internal teams and key suppliers to enhance production and performance, solve complex issues, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:Supplier Collaboration: Work directly with suppliers to manage production, performance, and capabilities for Executive Transport Aircraft programs.
Performance Management: Lead strategic supplier assessments, identify root causes of performance issues, and develop corrective and preventative action plans.
Cross-functional Integration: Collaborate with engineering and program stakeholders, providing technical and business guidance to critical suppliers.
Program Leadership: Manage all aspects of the program, including supplier relationships, performance, and work movement plans.
Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to drive supplier performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to maximize results.
Data Analysis & Problem Solving: Analyze data, solve complex problems, and present creative solutions to improve supplier performance.
Communication: Effectively communicate performance risks, issues, and opportunities to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment across all teams.
This role requires up to 50 travel to supplier sites to ensure effective supplier management and performance oversight.
What We’re Looking For:Required Skills & Experience:5+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors and driving product and service delivery.
5+ years of experience in problem-solving and generating creative alternatives for improving supplier performance.
5+ years of experience leading and managing cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
3+ years of experience in aircraft production, modification, or conversion.
Project Management Expertise: Proficient in using project management tools and best practices.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively across departments.
Strategic Initiative Leadership: Experience in developing and integrating strategic projects to meet business goals.
Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships and communicate complex concepts.
