Position Summary
This individual will be responsible for the management and development of supplier quality for the company, continuous improvement on cost and service level. Working with division and location related teams including SCM sourcing, planning, manufacturing, engineering, and quality control team. The main goal is to develop a viable supplier base and improve & develop supplier technical capability & capacity, fulfill the purchasing request and keep the operations running smoothly to meet division business development requirement. This position reports directly to the sourcing manager and must be able to travel extensively.
This position requires a high degree of engineering, manufacturing, quality and sourcing skills.

Scope/Supervision and Interaction:
Lead and manage supplier quality/cost/service level development & improvement per company’s requirement with close cooperation with division cross-functional teams and location manufacturing, engineering, quality and SCM teams.

Responsibilities:
Lead Supplier Quality Management for CDA division covering whole supplier base for different countries
Lead Supplier Quality improvement & development programs to achieve strategic goals, objectives and targets in all areas for Division
Lead LEAN events with suppliers for quality improvement and reduce cost with Lean & Quality involvement
Lead Supplier Quality Management related training for division, location teams and key suppliers
Coordinate with location Quality teams in supplier selection, evaluation & approval processes
Lead quality audits and initiate development activities with strategic suppliers (supplier development)
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for New Product Introduction projects, ensuring critical dimensions and attributes are identified, agreed and implemented with suppliers to ensure capable process established
Lead supply chain function on commercial negotiations with suppliers related to supplier quality & technical aspects
Lead Cross-Divisional & global HPTs and programs in Supplier Quality Development
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Material Science
5+ years of relevant experience
Strong understanding of sourcing practices and policies
Fluent in English both verbally and in writing
Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
High standards of ethics and honesty
Willingness to travel extensively
