Salary Range: $25.00 - $32.00/hr (DOE)

Position Summary

As a Supply Chain Expeditor, you will be responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules. The Supply Chain Expeditor ensures the accurate and secure documentation of materials and equipment. Reviews production schedules and confers with department supervisors to determine materials required or overdue and to locate materials, requisitions material, and establishes delivery sequences to departments and customers according to job order priorities and anticipated availability of materials.

Responsibilities

  • Expedite material deliveries in accordance with scheduled requirements.
  • Monitoring the flow of work from supply procurement to actual product deliveries.
  • Collaborate with different teams such as project management, production, and purchasing to facilitate operations and material movement.
  • Performing clerical duties, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to established procedures, policies, instructions, and guidelines.
  • Conduct inventories and update information in our ERP system.
  • Schedule deliveries, track shipments, and check delivered materials for accurate inventory and damages.
  • Analyze, investigate, and correct inventory discrepancies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma with 3 or more years of experience in logistics/supply chain operations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interactive skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance.

Desired Experience/Skills

  • Familiarity with the aerospace/aviation field is a plus.

Physical Demands

  • Occasional be able to lift up to 50 pounds (with assistance, if required).
  • Regularly ascend/descend stairs and/or ladders.

Work Authorization and Environment

  • Must be lawfully eligible to work in the United States and complete a U.S. government I-9 Form.
  • Tactical Air Support is a Drug & Alcohol-Free Workplace. Pre-employment, random, or for cause drug/alcohol testing (including for marijuana) is required.
  • Occasional aircraft hangar or warehouse environment with exposure to loud noises, fumes from engines and chemicals, unpredictable climate (hot/cold), electrical shock, or trip or slip hazards.
  • May be exposed to or required to handle hazardous materials.
  • Occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime work may be required.
  • Occasional travel to various work sites throughout the U.S. may be required.
