Job Description:

Pay Range: $24-28


• Perform a variety of tasks in support of a manufacturing/production environment.

• Working in a cleanroom environment, performing some mechanical assembly using various tools and fasteners.
• Use of hardware like machined housings, circuit cards, mirrors, motors, and optical assemblies.

• Use precision torque tools, solder, repair, and/or inspect electric and mechanical systems.

• Utilize special test equipment to perform a variety of tests and alignments of various hardware.

• Interface and communication with Engineering involving technical discussions will be required.

• Requires the technician to pass certifications and to work limited overtime when needed.

• Expected to cross-train for other areas and be engaged with daily production activities that drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and schedule performance.

Required Skill Sets: 
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)  Experience working with written documentation (Assembly Instructions, Drawings, Test Procedures, and/or Shop Processes, etc).  Experience with torque tools Desired Skill Sets:  AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.  Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  Experience with lean manufacturing concepts.  Experience working in an ESD and FOD free environment.  Working and collaborating in a team environment.  Quality Conscious  Honorable Military service is a plus. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance after the start date. U.S. citizenship is required
