Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Tool and Die Maker to join our F-15 team in San Antonio, TX.
Position Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, repair, and maintain various tools, dies, and fixtures used in the manufacturing process
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to create precise tooling components
- Operate manual machining equipment, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Utilize measuring instruments, both in the shop and out on the aircraft, to ensure accuracy and quality of work
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop innovative solutions for tooling needs
- Perform inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
- Assist with aircraft structures III work, including assembly, installation, and repair tasks as needed
- Fabrication of aircraft parts
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location option (San Antonio, TX).
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5 + years of experience as a Machinists or Tool Maker
- 5 + years of experience operating manual mill and manual lathe machines
- 5 + years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- 5 + years of experience working with precision measuring tools
- Ability to work variable shifts (i.e. scheduled and unscheduled overtime; weekends and holidays) to support mission requirements and workload
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Knowledge of aircraft structures III and related processes
- Ability to work on aircraft structures III tasks as required
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Relocation:

Summary Starting Pay Rate: $68,640 annually / $33.00 an hour
Additive Pay: $1.00/hourly for Airframe Certification
$1.00/hourly for Powerplant Certification
