ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible to maintain accurate records of vendor loaned and tools issued within the facility. Periodically performs inventory of tools issued to shop floor as well as tool crib inventory.

  • Conducts daily transactions of tools issued and returned.
  • Prepares tool kits to support manufacturing operations.
  • Mounts and presets tools to support manufacturing operations.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.
  • Computer Literacy
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Internet and email use. Must be able to read and understand English instructions.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and orderly Tool Crib to facilitate easy access to tools and equipment and to protect expensive tools and equipment as necessary.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, to adhere to deadlines and the ability to be flexible.
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directives

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of hands on Tool Crib experience. (Preferably in Aerospace or closely related industries).
  • Basic computer proficiency to access Company MRP system and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) skills and professional demeanor when dealing with team members.
  • Excellent organizational skills to keep accurate records of tool locations, scheduled repairs and maintenance.
  • General understanding of typical measuring methods in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of important aspects of AS9100 Quality Management System a plus.
  • Understanding of basic shop math.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Language: ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to verbally communicate effectively.
  • Mathematical: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry.
  • Reasoning Ability: ability to apply common send understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $18.00 to $19.25 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 104 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company&39;s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
