B. General

This is a full-time, FLSA non-exempt position reporting to the Below Wing Duty Manager. The role will closely collaborate with the Director of Operations and interact with all company departments. The primary responsibilities include overseeing the Company’s Flight Attendants and Inflight Management team to ensure the highest standards of safety and reliability, while also aligning with the company’s customer experience goals. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service and support, demonstrate strong communication skills, and embody the company’s values and culture while working effectively with all levels of the organization in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

C. Duties and Responsibilities

• Load, unload, service, guide, and direct customer aircraft.

• Ensure the safety of customer baggage, air cargo, and airmail by protecting them from weather, loss, theft, damage, or destruction.

• Safely lift, load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company materials into and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders, or baggage carts.

• Operate pushback equipment and maintain visual contact with Wing Walkers to ensure the pushback equipment is free from hazards. 

• Receive and record customer baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials as needed.

• Pick up, deliver, and transport cargo and baggage to and from aircraft, ensuring proper documentation is maintained.

• Operate or drive motorized equipment, including belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, pushback tugs, bag carts, lavatory carts, and deicers, or manually push and pull carts and containers.

• Complete paperwork and forms related to job responsibilities and enter information into the company’s system as required.

• Perform other related duties as assigned within the scope of the role and required skills.

• Additional tasks as directed.

D. Qualification Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.

• Basic computer skills required.

• Must successfully pass all pre-employment screenings, including drug testing and a physical examination.

• Ability to safely lift up to 70 lbs.

• Must have a valid state driver’s license.

• Flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Ability to manage long queues when necessary.

• Work may involve both desk-based tasks and mobility around the airport.

• Uniform is required.

• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful work environment.
