Responsibilities:
Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on general aviation aircraft, including single-engine and multi-engine piston systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and avionics systems to identify and resolve issues.
Repair critical components such as engines, propellers, and landing gear, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company protocols.
Document maintenance and repair activities in accordance with FAA guidelines and internal procedures.
Verify the airworthiness of aircraft before customer release to ensure safe operation.
Maintain a clean and secure work environment, including the care and calibration of tools and equipment.
Collaborate with mechanics and staff to ensure efficient service and high customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an FAA-accredited technical program with a minimum of 1,900 class hours.
FAA-certified A&P mechanic.
3-5 years of experience in General Aviation maintenance (Cirrus Aircraft experience preferred).
Extensive knowledge of aircraft components, systems, and mechanical testing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar record-keeping software.
Strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
Effective communication skills for accurate reporting and problem-solving.
Physical ability to stand, kneel, lift up to 70 lbs, and work at heights as needed.
