Job Description:
Previous Line MX experience
Operate and troubleshoot aircraft systems
APU operationAircraft power-up for pre-flight and troubleshoot and correct/defer any issuesAircraft shut-down and safety post flight
Assist with aircraft fueling/defuel and fuel transfer as required
Safely operate aircraft hydraulic systems and flight controls
Aircraft launch and recovery
Experience marshalling inbound and outbound aircraft
Experience working with a flight crew on pre-flight procedures, necessary MELs, and aircraft dispatchExperience debriefing flight crew on inbound discrepancies/damage
Familiar with aircraft ramp and run-up/taxi areas safety protocols
Hanger MX experience
Experience with minor aircraft maintenance
Panel changes
Tire and Brake changesPM servicing
Performing PS service checks
Aircraft sumping
Aircraft weigh operations
Proficient with mapping aircraft damage and researching allowable limits
Flight control removal and installation
Aircraft power-up, hydraulics operation, and movement of flight controls for production support
Opening of aircraft entry and cargo doors, including slide operation experience
Minor composite repair and sheet metal repairs
Narrow body and Wide body Tug and Tow experience
Experience operating both small and large aircraft tugs in push-back and tow configurations
Experience as a Guide-man in push-back/tow operations
Experience as a wing-walker in push-back/tow operations
Experience moving ground support equipment (air stairs, gpus, etc.) in close proximity to aircraft
Familiar with ramp and aircraft operations area procedures
Flight Control Balance
Experience in flight control removal, balance, and reinstallation including RII inspection process
Experience in calculated balance of flight controls
Aerial lift equipment
Experience operating Boom-lift and Scissor-lift equipment in close proximity to aircraft
Blueprint and technical data
Experience researching approve methods, techniques, and practices in the appropriate AMM, SRM, CMM, etc. manuals
Experience researching aircraft parts in the applicable IPC manual ensuring proper effectivity, ETOPS, LMP, etc. requirements are met
Experience utilizing and interpreting technical blueprints adhering to details, notes, and required tolerances
Experience mapping aircraft damage in a format acceptable for engineering submission and researching allowable limits
Computer skills
Familiar with Microsoft Office including: Outlook, Power-point, Word, Excel, etc.
Familiar with Adobe products
Familiar with Embraer online manuals, Airbus World, and MyBoeingFleet, etc.
Leadership skills
read and write English
ability to make decisions and communicate with auditors and or FAA representatives
self-driven and be a team player
Job Requirements:
Must have at least 2 yrs exp w/CRJ and 757, if possible.
