A&P Mechanic - LASAR and Mooney Join Forces and we need you. 

LASAR recently became the exclusive provider of Mooney Aircraft Parts.  This puts our Authorized Mooney Service Center uniquely positioned to grow, and grow fast.  As an authorized repair center for Mooney and other Piston Engin Aircraft, we pride ourselves on maintaining a family focused shop.  Weekends and late nights are the exception rather than the rule.   

We don’t relax our standards -   

A&P Mechanics play a key role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of customer’s aircraft. You will troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance tasks while working closely with our Director of Maintenance.  This includes: 

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect, and maintain aircraft. 
• Document work per manuals and regulatory requirements. 
• Follow safety and Environmental Health & Safety policies. 
• Compliance with FAA regulations 
• Participate in 5S activities to maintain a clean workspace. 
• Perform mechanical/electrical component removals and installations. 
• Provide off-site maintenance support when needed. 
• Assist with fueling, engine removal/installation, and component repairs 

What you need -  

• 3+ years of experience with aircraft. 
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant License 
• Must have valid Driver's License 
• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Legal right to work in the United States 
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for aircraft status reporting. 
• Problem solving and organization skills 
• Experience entering and accessing technical data within computer systems 
• Exercise good judgment in working in a team environment as well as in aircraft maintenance and safety. 
• Work independently on projects when required. 
• Must be able to perform all line maintenance functions unsupervised, at any time 
• Ability to lift 75lbs, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, sit, stand, stoop, frequently in confined spaces
