About the Role:
As an Assembler, you will be involved in routine production assembly operations, working on structural and mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, and aircraft systems. Your work will directly support the creation of essential aerospace equipment and accessories that keep our missions strong and safe. This is a six-month consultant position with full-time hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine assembly operations on structural, mechanical, and electrical systems, following engineering drawings and specifications.
- Support continuous improvement by contributing to the design, fabrication, and testing of new concepts and technology.
- Utilize precision measuring tools to ensure accurate assembly and high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and qualify materials, suppliers, and equipment.
- Participate in manufacturing processes and ensure that production requirements meet specifications and delivery schedules.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) safety.
- Travel to other facilities as required to support assembly operations.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.
- 1+ years of experience working with precision measuring tools.
- 1+ years of experience in the fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems.
- 1+ years of experience with machine shop processes.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly capabilities for defining delivery configurations.
- Ability to differentiate between production processes and in-service procedures.
- Familiarity with FOD prevention, material handling, and safety protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team to meet production goals.
- Knowledge of metal properties and other common materials used in aerospace manufacturing.

- Competitive pay range of $25.76 to $32.32 per hour.
- Full-time consultant role with first shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

Pay Details: $25.76 to $32.32 per hour
