Summary:
Perform maintenance, modification, repair, assembly, and disassembly of MV-22 aircraft systems and components in support of depot-level maintenance and modification programs.
Troubleshoot and repair complex pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, avionics, and airframe systems to ensure aircraft serviceability and flightworthiness.
Conduct functional, diagnostic, validation, and verification testing using aerospace test equipment and established fault isolation procedures.
Support aircraft overhaul and modification activities by removing, replacing, upgrading, and testing aerospace vehicle components.
Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, safety, quality assurance, FOD control, and tool control requirements throughout all maintenance operations.
Document maintenance actions, repairs, inspections, modifications, and test results in accordance with established technical procedures and standards.
Coordinate and oversee assembly, disassembly, overhaul, and modification activities to ensure accuracy, adequacy, and operational readiness of deliverable aircraft products.
Assist engineering teams in resolving discrepancies and correcting technical issues identified during maintenance and inspection processes.
Requirements:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance; must be a U.S. citizen.
High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of aerospace maintenance/modification experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with MV-22 aircraft maintenance, modification, and repair operations.
Strong knowledge of electrical/avionics systems or airframe/structures maintenance and repair.
Experience troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical aircraft systems.
Ability to independently assemble, disassemble, inspect, modify, and repair aerospace components and systems.
Skilled in functional and diagnostic testing using monitoring instruments and automated test equipment.
Knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures including FOD control, tool control, and safety practices.
Ability to document repairs, inspections, modifications, test results, and maintenance discrepancies in compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
