The Engine Technician troubleshoots, performs maintenance, and repairs aircraft engines and related aircraft components.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Comply with Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and procedures. Participate in 5-S activities. Perform all work in a safe and timely manner.
- Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance on engines and related aircraft problems.
- Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
- Remove, install, and replace aircraft engines and accessories.
- Assist with performing complete engine runs.
- Operate ground support equipment.
- Assist with off-aircraft component repair.
- Perform mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills- You have an Airframe & Powerplant Certificate.
- You have 2+ years of aircraft maintenance and repair experience, or substantiated equivalent experience.
- You have previous experience in A/C turbine engine maintenance.
- You can interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.
- You can effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on aircraft status.
- Basic PC skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Previous experience on either corporate or commercial jet aircraft (preferred).
- Tug qualified (preferred).
- Forklift qualified (preferred).
- Ground Support Equipment qualified (preferred).

Work Environment
Second Shift (Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am). Weekend shift (Friday-Sunday 3/12s works 36 hours; paid for 40).
