- Seeking experienced A&P Mechanics will previous military aircraft maintenance experience, preferably with fixed-wing aircraft. Candidates should have at least 3-4 years of military aircraft maintenance experience, with ideal candidates having 6-10+ years. Aerotek offers a unique opportunity for veterans to acquire hands-on experience on corporate aircraft and test out for their A&P certification within a 9-month program.
Responsibilities- Repair airframe, engines, structural, avionics, electrical, and hydraulics systems.
- Conduct intermediate or depot level maintenance using various hand and power tools.
- Remove and install aircraft panels.
- Perform aircraft and component inspections.
- Operate and test engines and auxiliary power units (APU).
- Troubleshoot aircraft faults or perform Fault Isolation Procedures (FIP).
- Operate aircraft tugs.
Essential Skills- At least 3-4 years of military aircraft maintenance experience.
- Broad range of knowledge in repairing airframe, engines, structural, avionics, electrical, and hydraulics systems.
- Experience with intermediate or depot level maintenance.
- Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.
- Experience with aircraft and component inspections.
- Knowledge of engine/APU operation and testing.
- Ability to troubleshoot aircraft faults or perform Fault Isolation Procedures (FIP).
- Experience operating aircraft tugs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Preferred experience with military aircraft such as F-18, F/A-18, F-16, F-15, F-22, F-35, C-130, KC-135, E-3, E-2, EA-18, B-1, B-52.
- Strong desire to learn new maintenance skills.
- Ability to perform in high tempo work environments.
- Opportunity to earn an A&P license with reimbursement after passing the test.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $52.00/hr.
