Support safe, reliable and punctual operations by carrying out essential line maintenance activities at outport stations across North Asia. This role sits at the heart of day-to-day aircraft operations, contributing directly to on-time performance, cabin experience and the trust our customers place in Cathay.
Working on a shift basis, maintenance tasks are performed under the supervision of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer while also coordinating with third-party suppliers and supporting ground operations. The work spans aircraft maintenance, equipment servicing, documentation control and operational support during disruptions, diversions or ad hoc changes.
Through hands-on exposure and structured on-the-job training, this role builds strong foundations in aircraft maintenance operations while contributing to Cathay’s commitment to safety, reliability and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Perform aircraft maintenance for Cathay Group aircraft and approved third-party customers on a shift basis under the supervision of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer.
- Monitor the performance of third-party suppliers, including technical and ramp services, de-icing and refuelling, and follow up on operational issues.
- Support contingency plans and ad hoc operational requirements such as diversions, charters, aircraft type changes and disruption recovery.
- Complete station administration tasks and ensure all station documentation and passes remain valid and up to date.
- Carry out servicing and maintenance of station ground equipment, vehicles and facilities.
- Control inventory, housekeeping and stock accuracy within the aircraft parts store.
- Undertake local or overseas operational relief duties when required.
- Comply with local Occupational Health and Safety standards, regulations and guidelines at all times.
- Participate in performance reviews, station meetings and continuous improvement activities to enhance operational efficiency and teamwork.
- Support emergency, accident and crisis response activities as required.
Requirements- Taiwan Permanent Resident or Taiwan Employment Gold Card holder
- High school graduation.
- Demonstrable aptitude and understanding of aircraft maintenance operations.
- Ability and willingness to undertake induction training and on-the-job training as required.
- Availability to work shift patterns in a safety-sensitive operational environment.
