Job Description:

Lechene Aviation LLC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Aircraft Mechanic to join our growing team at Indiana County Jimmy Stewart Airport. We are a dynamic and expanding aviation company working on a diverse range of aircraft, including light sport, piston singles and twins, turboprops (e.g., King Air), mid-size jets (e.g., Hawker 400), and piston/turbine helicopters.

Position Overview:

As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide variety of aircraft in compliance with FAA standards and regulations. Your role will include troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues, performing Annual Inspections, Phase Inspections, and other scheduled maintenance. Lechene Aviation is a Certified Repair Station offering specialized services such as Pitot-Static Inspections and light avionics work.  We are a one-stop shop. Qualifications:

Required:

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification with Inspection Authorization (IA).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an A&P mechanic.
  • Experience working on turboprops and mid-size jets pis referred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Preferred:

  • Prior training and experience with turboprops (e.g., King Air) and mid-size jets (e.g., Hawker 400).
  • Familiarity with helicopters and light avionics work.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of aircraft.
  • Conduct Pitot-Static Inspections and light avionics work as required.
  • Ensure all work complies with FAA standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance performed.
  • Collaborate with other team members to support the company’s operational goals.
Salary Range: 25/hr-40/hr
