We are currently seeking skilled Aircraft Mechanics to support a high-profile Boeing 737/P-8A Poseidon military modification and maintenance program. This position involves performing depot-level maintenance, structural mods, systems installations, and troubleshooting on 737NG-based military aircraft, including the P-8A Poseidon platform. Applicants should have a strong background in heavy maintenance, MRO operations, or military/civil aviation programs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform depot-level maintenance on P-8A (737-800) aircraft, including functional testing, troubleshooting, and repairing all airframe mechanical systems and assemblies such as flight controls, airframe, landing gear, and engines.
- Install, adjust, align, troubleshoot, and perform final operational tests on various aircraft systems and components.
- Identify malfunctions, troubleshoot, and repair or replace electrical wiring and aircraft accessories.
- Conduct pre-flight, thru-flight, and post-flight inspections; perform refuel/defuel, jacking, and towing operations.
- Perform engine removal and installation, aircraft leveling, and routine depot tasks.
- Read and interpret data from cockpit instrumentation and gauges to support troubleshooting.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience performing O-Level or Depot-Level Maintenance on P-8A or Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
- Strong working knowledge of aircraft systems including hydraulics, structures, engines, and electrical systems.
- Prior experience with Depot-Level Inspections and detailed maintenance documentation.
- Familiarity with specialized tools and equipment such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, and micrometers.
- Understanding of Navy maintenance procedures and manuals is preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-standard depot-level environment.
- Must pass a background check for government/military access (clearance eligibility a plus).
- Must complete a Microsoft Teams video interview as part of the screening process.
- A&P license preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL & COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand, sit, crouch/squat, climb, and kneel throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to pass a 10-year criminal background check, FAA DOT drug test, and basic health physical.
- Personal tools/toolbox.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship required.
- Valid and current US Driver’s License.

PAY & SCHEDULE
- $45 Hourly
- Split per diem available to those who qualify
- Paid weekly after the first week of work
- Monday – Thursday / Friday 8-hour shift
- Two Shifts Available:
- 6:00am – 4:00pm
- 2:00pm – 12:00am
- MUST be flexible to work additional OT when needed
