Morson Edge is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic to support the F-35 programme at RAF Marham — the only location in the UK where you can work on this platform.
This is a position within a modern, well-controlled maintenance environment, supporting one of the most advanced aircraft in service. The work is varied, the standards are high, and the programme itself offers long-term stability.
You’ll be joining a capable, close-knit team operating in a fast-paced but structured setting, where consistency, compliance, and competence are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out aircraft maintenance in line with Approved Technical Information and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate airworthiness records and documentation
- Identify, report, and escalate technical issues or discrepancies
- Comply with all maintenance procedures and organisational standards
- Apply Human Factors and Error Management principles
- Support Continuing Airworthiness Assurance activities
- Undertake inspections, repairs, modifications, and fault rectification
- Remove, install, and test aircraft components and systems
Requirements
- Proven experience working within EASA/MRP Part 145 environments
- Experience supporting complex military aircraft programmes
- Completed Engineering Apprenticeship (Aeronautical preferred) or equivalent military training
- City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of maintenance procedures and airworthiness standards
