Job Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:- Skilled in depot level processes and procedures for replacement of major structural components.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as engineering drawings, technical documentation, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Strong decision analysis and problem-solving skills. Ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions. Must be able to communicate issues to management.
- Intermediate computer skills specifically using Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs. Working knowledge of advanced software applications is preferred.
- Knowledgeable of fixed wing aircraft construction features, identification and characteristics of aerospace materials to include proper use, mixing, and storage of acids, solvents, alcohol, caustics, primers, and paints; and proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste and materials.
- Knowledgeable in depot fabrication / repair / replacement of metal components, tubing, cable, plastic, fiberglass, bonded honeycomb, sheet metal, and composite structural components.
- Must be able to utilize respirator, forced air, or other breathing equipment during the performance of assigned duties.
- Ability to enter data accurately into databases.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff. Will also routinely interact with other crew members.
- Must possess effective oral and technical written communication skills to clearly communicate information to others.
- Ability to use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier, scanner, printers, etc.
- Ability to follow processes.
- Strong professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up.
- Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to Yulista goals.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
- High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to multi-task.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of relevant aircraft depot level structural maintenance experience with fixed / rotary wing commercial, Government or DOD aircraft.
- Previous Air Force Specialty Code 2A753 / 2A773 highly desirable.
- Multi aspect aviation qualifications / certifications / disciplines highly preferred.
- Experience supporting DoD contracts.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within depot level maintenance required.
- Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airplane and/or Powerplant certification a plus
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.
