As an Aircraft Mechanic here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in assisting our corporate business unit in Charlotte, NC. You will be accountable for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on aircraft to ensure their safe and efficient operation. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our aerospace operations.
You will report directly to our Aircraft Maintenance Manager, and youll work out of our Charlotte, NC location.
In this role, you will impact the reliability and performance of our aircraft fleet by conducting thorough inspections, troubleshooting issues, and performing necessary repairs. Your technical skills and knowledge of aircraft systems will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft.
- Conduct inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
- Repair and replace aircraft components as needed.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards.
- Document all maintenance activities accurately and thoroughly.
- Tow Aircraft
- Assist in maintaining fuel farm

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Aircraft Mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and components.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and drawings.
WE VALUE
• Associates degree in Aviation Maintenance or a related field.
• Experience with specific aircraft models (e.g., Gulfstream, Falcon).
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
