Job Description
The Aircraft Technician, with limited supervision, assists with testing, adjusting, and repairing, and other general tasks related to the maintenance and repair of airframe systems and components on a variety of airframes in a safe and clean work environment according to manufacturers specifications, approved procedures, and customer specifications. This position also prepares and completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Assist in high quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance of airframe systems and components on a variety of airframes, using proper hand tools in a timely, clean, safe, and professional manner with no rework.
- Accurately order general aircraft parts as needed.
- Perform minor troubleshooting, function testing, and repair of aircraft systems and components with limited supervision.
- Prepare various documents for record-keeping purposes
Qualifications- Either 4 plus years of military experience if no A&P license or candidates with less than 4 years if they have their sign-offs.
- Candidates with structures experience only need 1-2 years of experience with no A&P.
- Candidates with A&P license are highly preferred, but will consider candidates without.

Work Environment
Work inside a temperature-controlled hangar with heated floors in the winter. The work schedule options include 1st shift from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, 2nd shift from 2:00 pm to 12:00 am Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, and a weekend shift from Friday-Sunday working three 12-hour shifts with a 10 shift differential to make up for the 4 hours.
