Aircraft MechanicJob Description
The Inspector must possess a thorough knowledge of aircraft systems, shop methods and practices, aircraft standards, use of manuals, theory of flight, operation of engines, airframe and airframe accessory overhaul, and applicable regulations related to the assembly, repair, overhaul, and operation of aircraft within their scope of approval.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft systems and components.
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of aircraft engines and airframes.
- Utilize manuals and other documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with aircraft systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure all work meets regulatory and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to schedules.
Essential Skills- M2 or M1 certification, OR a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Knowledge of Dash 8, Q400, and Challenger aircraft is an asset.

Work Environment
You will work in a clean hangar space with multiple aircrafts within the hangar. The environment can be colder when the hangar doors are open, but it remains comfortable. The work culture is multicultural and unionized, with no issues between contractors and unionized employees. The team consists of 80 people in production, including 10 contractors. The dress code includes safety boots, black/navy cargo pants, a t-shirt, and safety glasses. The hours of operation are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM for the day shift and from 2:30 PM to 11 PM for the PM shift. We are hoping to find candidates who are open to both shifts.
