Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic
Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking an Aircraft Mechanic for the assembly and refurbishment of CASA 212 and CASA 235 aircraft. The selected candidate will work in the component shop and may be required to perform parts painting. This is a safety-sensitive contract position with an undefined end date.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, reassemble, repair, and test aircraft components in accordance with Component Maintenance Manuals, work instructions, and FAA regulations.
- Perform all maintenance in accordance with FAA approved data and to the standards of good workmanship.
- Prioritize safety of flight in the production of an airworthy product.
- Keep assigned work area clean and free of hazards.
- Follow all necessary safety precautions including hearing and eye protection, use of chemicals, engine and propeller hazards, and fall protection.
- Accurately and legibly record all required information on internal company forms and aircraft maintenance documents.
- Ensure appropriate use of tools that are serviceable and calibrated when necessary.
- Locate, understand, and implement the appropriate technical data while performing maintenance.
- Knowledgeable in painting aircraft parts, including preparation, application, and paint safety.
- Perform duties assigned by the Component Shop and MRO Leads.
- Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner as an essential job function.
- Comply with OSHA Safety Regulations.
- Participate in on-the-job training as required.
- Observe safety procedures and personnel policies.
- Regular attendance as outlined in company policy.
Essential Skills- A&P License
- 5+ years of experience as an Aircraft Mechanic
- Experience with CASA 212 or CASA 235 aircraft, turboprop aircraft, fixed wing aircraft (heavy commercial or military), or rotary wing aircraft
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance, heavy maintenance, and component work
- Understanding of painting processes for aircraft parts
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with C&D checks, landing gear, modifications, and flight controls
- Experience with heavy maintenance on fixed wing or rotary wing aircraft

Work Environment
The work is performed in a hangar environment on the 2nd shift with expected overtime. The culture is very team and family-oriented.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mobile, Alabama.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
