Position Summary

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Mechanic (Inspection Authorization) to join a dynamic maintenance team dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of safety and reliability. Reporting directly to the Director of Maintenance, you’ll lead day-to-day maintenance operations, oversee technical teams, and help shape departmental policies and safety standards. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a high-performance, service-oriented environment.

• Lead safe and compliant aircraft maintenance operations
• Supervise and mentor maintenance personnel; provide ongoing technical training
• Perform and oversee maintenance on aircraft, engines, and avionics systems
• Develop and enforce maintenance policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Maintain accurate FAA-compliant records and documentation
• Manage spare parts inventory and ground support equipment
• Collaborate with flight operations to ensure seamless coordination
• Monitor and enforce MEL (Minimum Equipment List) compliance
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of hangar and office facilities

• Minimum **5 years of hands-on experience** as an aircraft mechanic
• Valid A&P certification with active Inspection Authorization (IA)
• Deep understanding of FAA regulations, technical data, and maintenance standards
• Proven experience maintaining a variety of aircraft types and systems
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (aviation-related field ideal)
