Responsible for building high end Aviation seating switches and lighting products for, Qantas, Etihad, Emirates and British Airways Airlines. You will be fully responsible for all the small batch manufacture of all switches and lighting product start to finish. You would be working withing a team of 11 employees.
Roles and Responsibility
Building and Testing of products by following assembly drawing and build specifications.
Ensure all parts are fully working through out the assembly of the product and report any
manufacturing and or design errors.
Ability to understand mechanical assembly drawings sent from Design Engineers (internally)
Ensure the quality control is a high level and make suggestions to improve quality and or design.

Ability to work unsupervised and also as part of a wider team (essential)
Ability to prioritise workload (essential)
Working within a fast paced environment (essential)
Attention to detail (essential)
Good communications and numerical skills; written and verbal (essential).
Previous experience of working within another production assembly environment (desirable)
Adhere to ISO9001 and AS9100D standards (desirable)
Soldering experience (desirable)
Conform to 6S (desirable)
Worked in a quality assurance environment and ensuring the correct documentation is completed (desirable)
Education
Educated to either GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English (desirable)

39 Hours per week, 0730 to 1630 Monday-Thursday and 0730 to 1230 on Friday.
