Position Overview:
Kay and Associates is looking for a skilled Automated Program Technician/Instructor with extensive experience in Land Forces maintenance programs and data processing. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing, documenting, training, operating, and troubleshooting modern maintenance management information systems for the Kuwait Land Forces. This role requires a strong background in both data processing and aviation maintenance management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise data processing professionals on Kuwait Land Forces maintenance management functions.
- Guide maintenance management personnel on applicable areas of automation.
- Execute responsibilities from the Coordinator, including establishing standards, designing, testing, and implementing software.
- Coordinate between work groups and maintenance managers.
- Monitor programs using appropriate management software.
- Provide technical advice on proposals and studies of short and long-term options for Land Forces maintenance automation.
- Perform system administration duties for all maintenance LAN and WAN as directed.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and configure PCs within the Kuwait Land Forces.
- Prepare and conduct formal classroom instruction and on-the-job training (OJT) as required.
Minimum Personnel Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience with Land Forces Maintenance Programs.
- Minimum of 10 years of data processing experience.
- Proficient with PC applications and computer hardware configuration and operation. Windows experience is required.
- LAN training.
- Experience in report generation and analysis.
- Skilled in conducting formal training on computer hardware and software.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- No security clearance required.
