Job Description

We are seeking skilled aviation technicians with an aviation maintenance background, preferably with experience in fixed-wing aircraft (jets, planes). Candidates should have general knowledge and skills in repairing airframe, engines, avionics, electrical, and hydraulics systems, and be capable of performing intermediate-level maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Repair airframe, engines, avionics, electrical, and hydraulics systems.
• Perform intermediate-level maintenance tasks using various hand and power tools.
• Remove and install aircraft panels.
• Operate Auxiliary Power Units (APU).
• Operate aircraft tugs.
• Troubleshoot aircraft faults or perform Fault Isolation Procedures (FIP).

• 3-4 years of military aircraft maintenance experience (ideal candidates have 6-10 years).
• Experience with airframe, engines, avionics, electrical, and hydraulics systems.
• Proficiency in intermediate-level maintenance tasks.
• Ability to use various hand and power tools.
• Experience with APU operation and aircraft tugs.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for aircraft faults or performing FIP.

• Preferred military aircraft maintenance experience on aircraft such as F-18, F/A-18, F-16, F-15, F-22, F-35, C-130, KC-135, E-3, E-2, EA-18, B-1, B-52.
• Strong desire to learn new maintenance skills.
• Ability to perform in high-tempo work environments.
• Opportunity to earn and receive reimbursement for A&P license after passing the test.

Work Environment

Work in a corporate aircraft service center and a 145 repair station.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, Texas.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
