Job Title: Chief Inspector
Job DescriptionThe Chief Inspector is responsible for the final testing and verification of systems, pickup and drop-off/delivery of customer aircraft, and explaining new features and practices to customers for General Aviation aircraft. This is a full-time, long-term role ideal for someone seeking a stable career in the Aviation industry. The position involves working primarily with Garmin, King, S-TEC autopilot systems, PSI Engineering intercom systems, Dynon, and Advanced Systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct full post-install inspections, testing, and verification, including taxiing and engine runs.
- Oversee the final testing and verification of systems.
- Manage the pickup and drop-off/delivery of customer aircraft.
- Explain new features and practices to customers for General Aviation aircraft.
Essential Skills- 4+ years of experience with wire harness buildup and installation.
- A&P license or former repairmans certification.
- Experience with Garmin systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Prefer CAD experience - viewing and basic manipulation of CAD drawings.
- Eligible for FAA DOT safety-sensitive hire.
