We are looking for a Composite Tooling Technician to join our team. Qualifying skills for the position includes , but is not limited to, detailing and preparing composite tooling master model surfaces for tooling prepreg and resin infusion layup processes. Your responsibilities will include building, detailing, sealing and releasing production lamination molds in preparation for producing composite parts.

Required
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- The work schedule for this position is Monday- Friday, 7:00 am- 5:30 pm.
- 1-2+yrs strong mechanical skills relating to assemblies is required.
- Understanding of composite & metallic materials and their specific handling requirements.
- Manual dexterity and ability to use hand & power tools efficiently and effectively.
- Commitment to safety protocols and the ability to work in a safe manner.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to train /mentor new team members.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
- Able to become certified to wear a respirator.
- Ability to lift assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs
- Have no known allergies to epoxies or other composites materials.
Desired
Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $22-$30/hr. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
