The ideal candidate will be a certified Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mechanic with Inspection Authorization (IA) and a proven track record of leadership in an aviation maintenance environment.

The Director of Maintenance is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations for our fleet of 38 Cessna, Piper, and Robinson aircraft. This individual will lead a team of 14 full-time mechanics, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and fleet reliability. This position reports directly to senior leadership and is integral to the success of our flight training operations.

  • Record Keeping & Documentation: Maintain meticulous and accurate maintenance records for all aircraft, engines, and components. Ensure all logbook entries, work orders, and compliance documents are completed correctly and filed appropriately.
  • Inventory & Budget Management: Manage the departmental budget, including overseeing the procurement of parts, tools, and equipment. Implement and maintain an effective inventory control system to minimize aircraft downtime.
  • Operational Coordination: Collaborate closely with Flight Operations to schedule maintenance in a way that maximizes aircraft availability while upholding uncompromising safety standards.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term maintenance strategies to enhance fleet reliability, control costs, and support company growth.
