Arconic is currently in search of Facilities Maintenance Service Person to join our Buildings & Grounds team in Lancaster, PA.

The Buildings & Grounds Serviceperson C is responsible to work safely and promote safety consciousness amongst team members, contractors and venders.
Buildings & Grounds Serviceperson will work in teams to learn the building & grounds maintenance processes required to keep plant facilities, buildings and grounds functioning properly. Incumbents have accountability to learn process and skilled trade (mechanical, building and construction, carpentry) knowledge to assist in achievement of plant performance goals.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform basic repair and maintenance of plant facilities, buildings and grounds, to include:
Floors and roadways (asphalt or poly block, concrete, wood and interrior flooring)
Pot hole and floor repairs, interrior and exterior.
Roof repair and maintenance. (asphalt, metal, shingle, rubber)
Overhead and personnel doors including best key system.
Best Key system, core and key maintenance and fabrication.
Diagnose overhead door issues.
Wall repairs (Masonry block, corrugated metal, and drywall)
Sign and tag fabrication
Operation of the sign printer and program.
Assist in performance of buildings and grounds preventive maintenance assignments
Oracle/EAM comprehension
Complete assigned work orders.
Other Necessary Functions
- Follows all policies, procedures, and EHS requirements.
- Performs other duties as requested by management.
- Apply all ABS and HP tools in daily tasks.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Demonstrates verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Able to work flexible hours as required
- Strong mechanical aptitude required

Basic Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year combined maintenance and repair experience performing related tasks from drawings and/or blueprints, to include:
- carpentry (cabinetry or structure); roofing maintenance and repairs (asphalt, metal, shingle, rubber); concrete floor maintenance and repairs; masonry block repairs; asphalt roadways; personnel and overhead doors
- Vocational Technology training from an accredited institution
- Associates degree in Technical Discipline from an accredited institution
- Previous Central Services experience.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
- Ability to meet physical requirements and withstand working conditions described by the Department
- Ability to lift and place weights up to 50lbs
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to work at elevated heights and from elevated work surfaces / platforms / devices / ladders
