JOB TITLE: Flight Readiness Inspection - FREE HOUSING SUPPORT!

LOCATION: San Antonio, TX

PAY RATE: $45.00 per hour

Summary:

    Verify and inspect the installation of flight components and perform operational testing of aircraft systems.

    Inspect and troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems, documenting faulty components.

    Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections, and maintenance checks before delivery.

    Document issues identified during operation and testing of deliverable products.

    Verify work accuracy and conduct self-inspections as needed.

    Assist with system and sub-system inspections in preparation for aircraft delivery.

    Independently plan and arrange work activities with guidance from lead.

    Create non-conformance records with minimal assistance.

    Non-managerial, non-leadership position.

Required Skills:

    High School diploma/GED

    4+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate degree + 2 years related work, Bachelors degree, etc.).

    Ability to work any shift, including days, nights, and weekends.

    3+ years of aerospace industry experience.

    3+ years of experience in quality inspection and/or auditing.

    3+ years of experience with Velocity and other 787 production applications.

    Experience in a team environment.

    Successful completion of training is required for this role, which may include OJT or formal classroom training.

Physical Requirements:

    Ability to climb vertical work ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 35 pounds.

    Exposure to noise and work on elevated platforms.

    Use of personal protective equipment for face, eyes, ears, hands, and arms as required.

    Pass visual acuity and color perception tests.

    Understand and follow detailed written and verbal instructions.

    Handle and dispose of hazardous materials.

    Obtain and maintain necessary training certifications.

    Perform occasional finger manipulation and two-person lifts for weights over 50 lbs.

    Frequent overhead reaching, walking, standing, and balancing on ladders or uneven surfaces.

    Occasional climbing, crawling, squatting, bending, and rotating head/neck.

    Occasional contact with metals and frequent noise exposure.

Desired Skills:

    FAA Airframe & Power Plant license.

    3+ years of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk experience.

    3+ years of 787 Program Experience.

    2+ years of Team Leadership experience.

    Proficiency in REDARS, PSDS, and BAC specifications.

    Experience with NCR (Non-Conformance Record) and EPD (Emergent Process Document) generation.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    3+ years of flight line operations experience.
