Responsibilities:
Perform final component installation, inspections, and operational functional validation testing for aircraft readiness.
Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections and support rework, modifications, troubleshooting, and system checks.
Inspect pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems to diagnose and document mechanical or electrical/electronic issues.
Validate and verify the accuracy of completed work in accordance with flight test and delivery standards.
Assist with sub-system and system-level inspections, maintenance, and customer delivery readiness.
Plan, schedule, and manage assigned activities with guidance from lead technicians; work is reviewed for compliance with objectives.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; vocational training or associate degree preferred.
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license required.
4+ years of relevant aircraft maintenance, manufacturing, or aerospace industry experience; or equivalent education and experience.
1+ years of avionics or electrical system experience.
Must be willing and able to work any shift, including days, nights, and weekends.
Must meet eligibility to obtain FAA Repairman’s Certificate, if not currently licensed.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience on the 787 program.
Prior work in airline, MRO, or overhaul environments.
Experience with operating systems and computing tools for maintenance documentation.
Previous team leadership or mentoring experience in a production or flight line setting.
