The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine industrial setting maintenance tasks including diagnosing and repair of equipment, which includes 3 phase electric motors, CNC & Manual Machining, Component DC Plating rectifiers as well as environmental air scrubbers and industrial heat treat ovens.
Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc.).
What you’ll do:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair, maintain/monitor process equipment and amenities
- HVAC and Facility Air compressor troubleshooting as required
- Able to assemble, install and repair CPVC plumbing systems
- Remove and properly dispose of all recyclable materials
- Troubleshoot and repair or replace interior and exterior lighting as needed
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned
- Maintain equipment maintenance PM program as directed
- Ability to operate a forklift
Position Requirements:
- High school education or equivalent
- 1-3 years of working experience in facilities maintenance, aerospace maintenance, machining equipment experience a plus
- Understanding of multi voltage electrical systems
- Ability to push/lift 45 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders
- Bending at waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, crouching as job may require
- Ability to work around lubricants, solvents, batteries, cleaning fluids, paints
Preferred Characteristics:
- Microsoft Office a plus
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License
- Well organized with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
