Job Title: Mig Welder for Aircraft Engine Hoist Construction
Job DescriptionWe are seeking skilled Mig Welders to join our team for the construction of aircraft engine hoists at Tinker Air Force Base. This project involves welding carbon and stainless steel high beams, panels, and sheeting. If you have experience in Mig welding and can read blueprints, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Perform Mig welding on carbon and stainless steel high beams, panels, and sheeting.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and fitting of structures.
- Fabricate and assemble components according to specifications.
- Use tape measures and other tools to ensure precision in welding and assembly.
Essential Skills- Mig welding experience, particularly with 1/2 inch thick carbon stainless steel.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Strong fabrication and fitting skills.
- Experience in welding structures and performing precise assembly tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Must pass a weld test.
- Experience with welding aircraft engine hoists is a plus.

Work Environment
The work is based at Tinker Air Force Base. This is a 3 to 4 month project with working hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract position based out of Luther, Oklahoma.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.
