Job Purpose:
Perform a full range of Industrial maintenance activities on production equipment, preventative maintenance, and building utilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance and unscheduled on production equipment.
- Install production equipment, such as machining equipment, assembly fixtures and utility equipment. Assist in building new equipment as necessary.
- Install Utility systems, such as potable water, cooling water, compressed air, compressed nitrogen, oxygen and propane.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and to make proper repairs and adjustments.
- Complete all required paperwork, work orders, inventory requests, and requisitions.
- Prepare requests for equipment, equipment part and supplies.
- Supports 5s and safe work practices
- Other tasks as directed by your supervisor
Physical Demands:
- Stand for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
- Frequent walking, reaching, lifting at least 25 lbs.
- Occasionally stoop, bend, lift/move at least 50 lbs.
- Close, distance, peripheral, vision, depth perception, adjust focus.
- Occasionally work at heights or within confined spaces.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Knowledge of Maintenance Trades
- Carpentry
- National Electrical Code
- Hydraulics
- Industrial Electricity
- Machine Shop
- Mechanical Maintenance
- Pipefitting, Plumbing
- Programmable Logic Controllers
- Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, certification a plus
- Welding
- Pneumatics
- Ability to read equipment drawings, schematics, installation drawings
- Skill in the use of computers and related software applications, esp. Cribmaster
- Ability to communicate well with maintenance and production personal
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or GED, Technical Degree in Industrial Technology or equivalent one year of assignment-related maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.
