Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location: High Ridge, Missouri Company: STS Technical Services Job Overview: STS Technical Services is actively seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team in High Ridge, Missouri. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment, including CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and environmental test chambers. Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and test equipment, including shock and vibration devices.
Technical Support: Provide routine technical support to engineers and scientists on standard components, devices, materials, products, processes, and equipment.
Mechanical Repairs: Repair and rebuild water and vacuum pumps, maintain environmental test chambers, water towers, heat exchangers, and air conditioning systems.
Assembly & Testing: Work from standard wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications, and sketches to build, modify, rework, and repair electronic, optical, or mechanical assemblies.
Prototype Development: Design and test prototype assemblies and production units; perform related manufacturing processes as needed.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements per State and Federal regulations; follow SOPs and safety rules.
Documentation & Coordination: Interface with other departments to ensure efficient flow of information and materials; interpret and possibly develop wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specifications for system or equipment modifications or expansions.
Key Performance Indicators: Meet production deadlines, ensure the quality of finished products, manage raw material stock levels, and maintain compliance outcomes.

Qualifications:

Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
Experience handling small, delicate components using ESD practices.
Soldering and wire bonding experience is a plus.
Experience in the safe handling of chemicals.
Proficiency in various computer applications, including Access, Excel, and LabView.
Experience with MRP systems is a plus.
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
U.S. Citizenship required.
