Summary

This position provides mechanical process engineering services for designated SMC facilities.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for evaluating and developing safe reliable and productive processes installed on time and within budget, as well as recognizing inefficiency in existing processes and implementing improvements.
  • Responsible for planning and design of facilities and processes as well as providing technical support for maintaining and repair of existing.
  • Develops cost estimates and implementation schedules for assigned projects.
  • Prepares S, H, & E evaluation and fail safe analyses for capital requests.
  • Responsible for purchase and managing of materials and labor for installation of approved projects, including preparation of specifications and bid packages.
  • Responsible for project supervision during installation and startup of approved projects.
  • Responsible for project follow-up including recording of drawings and manuals, spare part recommendations, operator/maintenance training, and project post audit.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $91,500 to $137,200 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1.5X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company&39;s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
