Responsibilities:
- Perform setup, execution, and documentation of non-destructive tests, primarily Eddy Current, to ensure quality compliance of aerospace components.
- Set up and operate specialized non-destructive test and measurement equipment in accordance with controlled standards and procedures.
- Conduct inspections, collect data, analyze results, and document findings in quality records or test reports.
- Support the development and documentation of test procedures and technique sheets.
- Participate in corrective action processes and provide feedback on adverse quality trends.
- Conduct or support NDT certification training preparation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and potentially interface with regulatory agencies (DCMA, FAA, Military).
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s degree required.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as an NDT Quality Test Specialist in the aerospace or aviation industry.
- Certification: Recent or current NDT Level II certification in Eddy Current (ET).
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
- Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd).
- General understanding of NDE techniques and processes.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ET MAUS and ET Low Frequency.
- Prior experience working with regulatory agencies such as DCMA, FAA, or Military.
- Previous experience with Boeing.
- Advanced NDT certifications or an Associate’s degree in a technical discipline.
