Responsibilities:
Clean, inspect, repair, and maintain M240D weapons systems in compliance with OEM and military standards.
Assemble, disassemble, or modify aircraft and weapons systems to correct failures or implement upgrades.
Oversee overhaul activities, including disassembly and reassembly of weapons components.
Perform verification and validation testing of components and systems.
Document work performed, repairs, modifications, and inspection results to meet all contractual and regulatory compliance requirements.
Conduct inspections and ensure the quality of repairs and modifications for applicable weapons systems.
Operate under general supervision, taking initiative to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
Maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Typically 4 or more years of relevant work experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational training + 2 years, Associate degree, etc.).
Minimum 3 years of experience in military aircraft maintenance.
Minimum 3 years of experience working with military weapons systems.
Willingness and availability to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends.
Must possess an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (or one active within the past 24 months).
Must be a U.S. Citizen as required by government contract.
- Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on experience specifically with M240D weapon systems.
Experience with rotorcraft maintenance (military or civilian).
Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License (current or previous) is strongly preferred.
General mechanical maintenance experience, including troubleshooting and parts replacement.
