What You’ll Do

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on mechanical and electrical parts, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies during receiving, in-process, and final stages.
• Identify and document nonconforming materials, and submit findings to the Material Review Board (MRB).
• Generate and follow up on corrective action requests for internal teams and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate quality records and inspection documentation.
• Collaborate across departments and with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, ITAR, and other standards.
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and document results per SAE AS9102.
• Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions (RCCA/CAPA).
• Provide feedback to suppliers and internal teams to drive continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• Experience with inspection tools: calipers, micrometers, height gauges, go/no-go gauges, CMMs, and other measurement equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Familiarity with SAP ERP or similar systems for recording inspection results.
• A proactive mindset—more than just sorting parts into “good” or “bad,” you’ll be part of the solution.

• Knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100 standards.
• Experience with PPAP processes (PFMEA, Control Plans, Gage Capability, etc.).
• Experince in aerospace, automotive, or medical device industries.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
