We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector with an A&P license to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a repair station environment and the ability to conduct comprehensive inspections on aircraft maintenance from nose to tail, ensuring all modifications comply with engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect government aircraft, including King Air and Globals, undergoing various upgrades and modifications.
• Ensure structural and electrical modifications are correct according to engineering blueprints and schematics, incorporating all materials as per the Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Author engineering change requests as necessary.
• Complete required aircraft releases for modification and airworthiness.
• Prepare necessary documentation related to STC installations.
• Perform weight and balance checks according to the Pilots Operating Handbook (POH).
• Review Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins (SBs) to ensure compliance.
• Update and review aircraft life-limited items according to the manufacturers Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) Chapter 4.
• Brief and debrief the flight crew during calibration flights.
• Inspect all fabricated parts (mechanical and electrical) according to engineering blueprints and schematics.
• Conduct First Article Inspections in accordance with industry standards.

• 5+ years of experience in aircraft inspection.
• Possession of an A&P license.
• Experience working in a repair station environment.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings.
• Eligibility for security clearance.

• Flexibility to work different shifts.

This position offers a long-term opportunity with potential for contractors to transition to direct employment. There is a high availability of overtime, and the company has secured contracts with a large 10-year award pending.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a hangar environment within a 145 repair station. Candidates will be working in a fast-paced setting, completing specific tasks and work orders within designated timelines. The dress code is standard, consisting of jeans, a t-shirt, and steel-toed shoes. The position offers two shifts: a day shift and a second shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr.
