Job Title: Repair Technician/Inspector
Job DescriptionOur client is a unit of AMETEK Aerospace & Defense, a global provider of third-party MRO services to commercial, regional, and general aviation. This role involves working on the 1st shift, with a pay rate of $19 - $23 per hour. Candidates must be available to work the person including Saturdays when needed, and may work up to 12 hours per day, Monday through Friday. This is a Direct Placement position.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspection and repairs on aircraft components following the Component Maintenance Manual.
- Conduct aircraft heat exchanger and radiator repairs.
- Perform oil cooler testing and troubleshooting.
- Utilize testing equipment and measuring tools for accurate assessments.
- Carry out mechanical assembly and repairs using hand tools and power tools.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Essential Skills- Experience with the Component Maintenance Manual.
- Knowledge of aircraft heat exchanger or radiator repair.
- Proficiency in oil cooler testing and troubleshooting.
- Ability to use testing equipment and measuring tools.
- Mechanically inclined with experience in mechanical assembly and repairs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience in aircraft repair.
- Familiarity with inspection processes.
- A&P license is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.

Work Environment
The work environment is a temperature-controlled repair shop. The position requires working Monday through Friday from 2 PM to 10 PM. Steel-toed shoes are mandatory for safety.
