Summary:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft mechanical systems within standard CMP time requirements
Provide guidance and direction to assigned technicians; promote quality standards through leadership and example
Act in place of the Mechanical Team Lead (MTL) when assigned
Coordinate with Inspection to ensure compliance with internal and FAA documentation and inspection requirements
Complete work orders, shift turnovers, and documentation accurately and on time
Properly tag, protect, and store customer property and aircraft components
Operate and oversee use of ground support and special equipment (power units, hydraulic rigs, nitrogen/oxygen carts, etc.)
Coordinate aircraft movement as required
Assist in training personnel on CMP systems, maintenance manuals, SRMs, IPC usage, and major component maintenance
Coordinate overhaul or repair of customer property with other departments
Utilize material tracking systems to manage parts demand and labor charges
Support 6S and Lean initiatives to maintain safe, clean work areas
Properly handle and dispose of fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids, and other hazardous materials
Maintain and safeguard company tools and equipment
Support aircraft certification activities and participate in flight tests as required
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 4 years of aviation maintenance experience, including 3+ years on mid- to large-size aircraft
Corporate aircraft experience preferred
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required
Valid Drivers License required
Advanced knowledge of aircraft inspection and maintenance procedures
Strong understanding of technical publications (maintenance manuals, IPCs, SRMs, service bulletins, engineering drawings, etc.)
Working knowledge of FAA regulations, repair station requirements, quality control manuals, and company procedures
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
