Perform modifications and heavy maintenance on King Airs and DHC8 aircrafts.
Responsibilities
- Shoot and buck rivets to specifications.
- Recognize differences in types of metals, including structural strength and thickness.
- Perform sheet metal bends to guidelines and specifications as dictated in normal aviation practices.
- Remove existing rivets from aircraft structure.
- Build components for aircraft applications using a variety of sheet metal materials.
- Perform repairs to the aircraft and determine which repairs can or cannot be made.
- Read blueprints to ensure build and modification completion, following both written and verbal instructions.
Essential Skills- 4 years of aviation experience.
- Experience in sheet metal, aircraft modification, aircraft sheet metal, aircraft structure, and riveting.
- Experience in installation, fabrication, repair, depot maintenance, modifications, and heavy maintenance.
- 5+ years of aircraft structures experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Aircraft and/or military environment experience preferred.
- Must provide own tools.

Work Environment
Individuals will be working in a hangar environment in an MRO type setting. The company has several heavy maintenance and modification projects. Employees will work off the production schedule, including work cards, and are required to complete tasks within designated time frames. The typical schedule is Monday-Friday with 4/10 hour shifts, either Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, starting at 6:30 AM.
