Structures Mechanic Location: San Antonio, Texas

Position OverviewWe are seeking a Structures Mechanic to join our Executive Fleet team in San Antonio, TX. This role is crucial to our production and maintenance processes, providing support across multiple areas.
Key Responsibilities- Perform close tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation in critical support structures
- Locate blind holes for installation of new structural items
- Execute sealing, painting, shimming, and structure preservation
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and process specifications
- Operate tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot level modification
- Use specialized aircraft tools including test equipment, torque wrenches, and micrometers
- Access and manage aircraft data via computer systems
- Work in various environments including confined spaces
- Support mission requirements across various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
Required Qualifications- 4+ years experience working with non-porous metals (aluminum, titanium, stainless)
- 4+ years experience with schematics, specifications, and assembly drawings
- 4+ years experience using structures hand tools
- 4+ years experience working heavy structures
- Ability to work various shifts
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Top Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Depot Level/Heavy Structures maintenance
- Experience working on Executive Fleet Platform
- Ability to operate forklifts, mobile cranes, and powered elevating equipment
