We're seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker/Airframe Structures Technician to join our growing team.
About UsOur Houston facility is a premier business aviation MRO center specializing in mid-sized corporate jets. We maintain an extensive range of aircraft, including Falcon, Hawker, Challenger, Learjet, Gulfstream, and Embraer models. Our state-of-the-art facilities ensure top-tier maintenance for both engines and airframes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform internal and external sheet metal repairs, modifications, and installations
- Research and develop repair schemes using blueprints, engineering orders, and technical publications
- Fabricate sheet metal parts through blueprint interpretation, angle calculation, and bend allowance determination
- Build complex components including I-beams, doublers, stringers, and avionics trays
- Remove, replace, and relocate structural components while maintaining specifications
- Install Service Bulletin kits using OEM-provided materials and instructions
- Use precision measuring instruments for accurate repairs and modifications
- Conduct aircraft inspections following OEM maintenance manuals
- Document all work with precise accuracy
- Implement Service Bulletins, Repair Letters, and Airworthiness Directives
Required Qualifications- Minimum 3 years of sheet metal fabrication experience
- Previous experience as an aircraft sheet metal fabricator or structural mechanic
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted and stand for 8-hour shifts
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications- Valid FAA Airframe License (A&P preferred)
- Corporate aviation experience
- Experience with various aircraft types and models
