Job Description
Perform Avionics Repair and Installation on Airbus and Boeing aircraft. Work to written or verbal instructions, perform all work assigned in accordance with approved maintenance procedures, record work performed and assume responsibility for that work as indicated by your signature. Utilize blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals in the performance of assigned duties.
Responsibilities
- Perform repair and replacements on Airbus and Boeing aircraft.

- Use blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals in the performance of assigned duties.
- Conduct heavy maintenance.
Essential Skills- 1.5 years commercial heavy jet experience in MRO setting or 5 years military experience on acceptable aircraft.
- Equal mix of commercial heavy jet and helicopters or regional jets.
- A&P license preferred.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with aircraft modification and aviation electronics.
- Thorough working knowledge of forms and documents required to support heavy maintenance service, including Company policy and procedure manuals, FAR’s, AD’s, Service Bulletins, and Maintenance Manuals.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, instructions, blueprints, and drawings.
- Efficiency in the use and application of tools, gauges, instruments, etc. necessary for the accomplishment of duties assigned.
- Understanding and working knowledge of hazardous material handling and disposal as related to the job assignment.
- Must have minimum required tools.
- Must meet the qualifications to obtain a SIDA badge.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
Work Environment
- The work takes place in 2 hangars with typically 5 - 8 planes in at a given time.
- The operation includes 600 employees and is a 24/7 operation.
- Work hours may vary, including shifts from 0500 - 1530 and 1415 - 2245, with some schedules being 4x10 and others 5x8.
